Reclaim Heritage

A community interest company offering professional heritage services

Who we are

Chris Casswell MCIfA
Director

An experienced archaeologist with 20 years working across a variety of research, commercial and community projects. He has undertaken fieldwork at nationally and internationally significant sites – including Stonehenge, Lindisfarne and the Alhambra, Spain – and specialises in project consultancy, digital recording techniques and training students and volunteers.

Born and raised in the Lincolnshire Fens, where his family have farmed the landscape for many generations. Having travelled widely as a commercial and community archaeologist, his research interests have now refocused on that familiar landscape.

Claire Gamble MA
Business development and operations

She began exploring her interest in heritage by volunteering at the European Iron Age department of the British Museum. Claire studied History and Archaeology at Birkbeck College and in 2018 began her BA at Newnham College Cambridge in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic. Alongside her studies she continued working on excavations, curation at the Parker Library and data science projects. She was a founding member, and later President, of Cambridge First Generation Society.

She has thrived in operational work across a variety of industries with a focus on emerging technologies. Her experience has allowed Reclaim Heritage to scale efficiently with elegant solution design. Claire focusses on removing barriers to participation, particularly those relating to digital infrastructure.
